February Spotlight

Trace Draper was born on October 9, 2002. Trace has one brother and four sisters. He loves to play sports and watch them on T.V. He can be found most mornings watching Sports Center. His favorite teams are Utes, Jazz, Steelers and the Eagles. Right now Trace is playing on an indoor soccer team and loves to "shoot hoops" every night, even in the freezing cold. At his Dad's house, he has two dogs, four ferrets, four flying squirrels, lots of fish, four cats, frogs, and a lizard named Draco. He has yet to talk his mom into having any animals at her house, but he would really love a bird or a dog. Trace is not fond of school, but he does well and loves recess and lunch. He loves to eat pizza and pancakes and cake, but his favorite thing to eat is cereal and it's usually his after dinner snack. His favorite colors are red and pink. Trace loves to go camping and fishing with his Grandpa. Trace has a birthmark shaped like a fish on his ankle.

We love having Trace in our Scouting Program!

January Announcements

Our next Pack Meeting will be Tuesday, January 18th. at 7:00 p.m. The theme technically for January should be positive attitude with the Pinewood Derby as our activity, but we aren't quite ready for the Pinewood Derby, for many reasons.. So, we have switched January and April around, and we will have our Derby again this April (theme-positive attitude). Your cars will be passed out at the Blue and Gold Banquet again this year. So January's theme for Pack Meeting is going to be Faith.

Our Blue and Gold Banquet will be held Tuesday, February 15th @ 6:30 p.m. We will celebrate the founding of scouts with a Luau!

Registration for Cub Scout summer day camps start in February. At our January pack meeting we will discuss the best dates to book our camp. (June-Aug).

Keep working strong with your scouts, and don't forget the Cub Scout Sports and Academics Program offer additional awards your boys may be able to earn. If they belong on a sports team, there is an award they can earn. If interested, ask for more info please!
